The shooting of 'Mallanna' directed by Susi Ganeshan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu on the banner of V Creations with the National Best Actor Vikram as hero, glamour queen Shriya as heroine, was launched amidst several top and prominent film personalities in Hyderabad on Monday. In fact, the Tamil version of the film 'Kandaswamy' was launched on September 23 in Chennai on a grand scale. Now the Telugu version 'Mallanna' was launched at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on September 24, with the opening of a trailer. Later addressing the media, anchor Suma read out the message sent by Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi. In that message, the Mega Star greeted the film unit and wished the film a big hit. Director Susi Ganeshan says, 'I thank producer Thanu for believing me and for giving me this big support. When I suggested him about the invitation, he said okay immediately. Hero Vikram was not just perfect in performance alone. He is a wonderful artiste. Thank you all.' Hero Vikram says, 'I thank DVS Raju, Rahavendra Rao, Ramesh Prasad, Kalyan for attending this function. I will do a straight Telugu film service for Kalyan soon after this film. This is a wonderful subject. Susi is the captain of the ship. He is one of the best associates of Maniratnam. For me he is like a diamond. The trailer of this film is just an angle in the diamond. The entire film could be a synonym to the Kohinoor diamond. In Susi, there is a Shankar and a Maniratnam. Thanu is a very good producer in service provider in cinema industry.
