South India's charming girl Charmi's upcoming heroine-oriented entertainer Sye Aata, directed by K.R.K. Pawan, has almost reached the final stages of production. The film is produced by Nalluri Rajasekhar, maker of Yamagola Malli Modalaindi (2007).

Sye Aata has been in the news for a long time for Charmi's willingness to act opposite newcomer Ajay. Sources say Charmi will appear in a more glamorous avatar and expectations are high that she will outdo her 'Sree Anjaneyam' act in the film.

Sye Aata has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Siva Prasd, Nazar, Rao Ramesh, M.S. Narayana, Ali, Chalapati Rao, Master Bharat, Ramaprabha, Apoorva, Mounika, Sneha and others are in the cast.

The third generation from the Akkineni family is entering films. Naga Chaitanaya, Nagarjuna’s son and Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s grandson, is making his debut in films. The long-awaited debut happened on the memorable occasion of ANR's 85th birthday recently. His film was launched formally at Annapura Studios with much fanfare. ANR and D. Rama Naidu were present on the occasion along with Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.

ANR gave the clap for the first shot, D. Rama Naidu, Naga Chaitanya’s maternal grandfather, switched on the camera for the muhurat shot filmed under K. Raghavendra Rao’s honorary direction.

Sumanth, Akkineni Venkat, Nagarjuna, Suseela, Srinivasa Reddy, Sushant, Amala, Akhil, D. Suresh Babu, Venkatesh, Rana, Dil Raju, V.V. Vinayak, Sukumar, Srinu Vaitla, Boyapati Sreenu, Vamsy Paidipalli and D. Sivaprasada Reddy attended the function.

The film will be directed by Vasu Varma, who is coincidentally making his directorial debut with this movie, and Dil Raju will be producing it. The heroine is yet to be finalized. Sandeep Choutha will score the music.

The film will start regular shooting schedule on November 23, Naga Chaitanya’s birthday

Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna, is making his debut as hero in Telugu films. Dil Raju is producing this yet to be titled film. Vasu Varma makes his debut as director with this film. Sandeep Chowta will compose the music.

Shraddha Kapoor plays the female lead. She is the daughter of Shakti Kapoor, the well known character actor of Bollywood. Shraddha has been educated in the US and dabbled on the ramp also for some time. She also signed a Hindi film Teen Patti with Big B.

This film will be launched on September 20, which happens to be the birthday of veteran actor Akkineni Nageswar Rao, the grand father of Naga Chaitanya.
